Once you have finished building your scenario-based learning, it’s time to share this course with others. Click on the “Share” button in the Storyboard editor navigation to open the sharing modal. Using the dropdown list select the sharing type Learners, Groups and Systems (by default Learners are selected).
For adding individual learners that already exist in the system, type the persons name or email into the text box. The type ahead will suggest people based on your search, then click on the person that you want to give access to the course.
To notify the person that they have been invited to a course and send a welcome email with a sign in link. Check the box next to the learner(s) in the list/ click the options menu (⋮) and select “Send Welcome Email" and an email invitation will be sent to the learners email address.
If the learner does not exist in the system or you cannot find them in the search, change the sharing type to “Add new learner” in the dropdown option. Here you can enter the learners first, last name and email, this will create the learner in the system and give them access to the course. Alternatively a person can be added directly in the learner management section.
Adding Groups of Learners
A group is a collective of individual learners. It creates ease for doing tasks such as adding the same group of learners to the newly created course. Groups are created in the learner management section but can be assigned to a course in the “Sharing” modal. For adding groups that already exist in the system select the groups option sharing dropdown, and then type the group name into the text box. The type ahead will suggest groups based on your search, then click on the group that you want to give access to the course.
